In honor of Dr. George M. Hampton, we are conducting a special scholarship fund raiser. Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 in support of our scholarship fund before Dr. Hampton’s ninetieth birthday in June of this year. We are asking our patrons to donate $90.00 (any and all donations will be appreciated) to support this worthy cause entitled “90/90 Scholarship Drive.” Our Foundation has 501 (c) 3 status under IRS regulations allowing your donations to this initiative to be tax deductible as provided for under IRS guidelines.
Each year we award at least $10,000.00 in scholarships to students attending Prince William County and surrounding area public schools. In 2017, in conjunction with our affiliate Pi Lambda Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, we awarded $39,000.00 in scholarships to local youth, with some students receiving multi-year awards. A listing of our 2017 scholars is posted here on our website.
Please make your donation by clicking here or on the "Donate" button, and selecting “90/90 Scholarship Drive" from the drop down menu. Donations may also be mailed to George M Hampton Foundation, P.O. Box 2608, Woodbridge VA 22191.

Foundation Supports ACTS I-Walk
On 7 October 2017 Action In The Community Through Service (ACTS) conducted its “IWALK for ACTS” 5K Run/Walk and Festival. This event raises funds that support critical community programs in Prince William County. The event also heightens awareness in the community about how ACTS works diligently to offer vital support when and where it’s needed most. Programs include: a crisis hotline, Sexual assault services, domestic violence services suicide prevention services, emergency shelter, emergency assistance, food pantry, and thrift store to name a few. Over 2,500 people participated in the Run/Walk and the crowd at the festival was even larger. The George M. Hampton Foundation participated in the event as a sponsor with a donation of $1000.00. The foundation interacted with the community during the festival by participating in the run/walk and we briefed festival goers about the offerings of our foundation and our community support at our display table. It was an outstanding event and it increased the community’s awareness of our foundation’s mission.
